I have a small hard clearish/white bump under my toungue. It is right where the that wierd thing connects under your toungue to the bottom of your mouth. I had this thing removed twiceTwice-a-day by a oral surgen, and its back again, not as bad as the firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc two though..its smaller and less weird. It never hurt, and my doctor said its not cancer. Anyone who runs into this situation might become frustrated because nobody has an answer as to why this happens. From all the reading I have done it seems to have something to do with the gland under your mouth. Something got ruptured or something, blocking saliva. I dunno but its damn annoying; I was wondering if this could happen if you kissed the wrong sluty girl. But it seems, the reason this happens is either from drinking to much soda style drinks (energy drinks) in my case. Or some how you got hit in the mouth. My doctor said this dosent happen from drinking anything, but someone said on yahoo answers that drinking a lot of soda can cause wierdness in your mouth and for some reason I just have this gut feeling its the soda (energy drinks) in the cans. Cans are bad to drink out of. I could be completely wrong, I dunno this *****..I have had this smelly thing removed twiceTwice-a-day by a surgen and it still coming back. MY doctor said in rare cases the gland under mouth can form tenticles that purtrude out of your mouth or toungue in this case (GROSS). I think I have to go to the doctor and get my jaw X-ray, to figure out what the gland is doing. The biggest bummer about this is; this may never go away I have had it cutCuts and puncture wounds out twiceTwice-a-day..but seems to get better every time its cutCuts and puncture wounds. This *****..stupid bumb GO AWAY!
The differential diagnoses include mucous retention phenomenon (mucocele). resulting from severed ducts of salivary gland, and sialolithiasis , resulting from stone plugged in the duct of salivary gland. Based on the information provided, it appears to be mucocele. In order to prevent recurrence, salivary gland needs to be surgically removed.
