Burning feeling from base of neck to head + headache

For a couple of months I have had a terrible feeling of a burning sensation going from the base of my neck to the top of my head, plus one nasty headache. In addition to that I feel like there is something blocking my throat that makes me feel really sick.  I need to know if this is common with dental issues or possbilysomething else please.

The odd thing here is there is no sign of fever?

Your reply would be greatly appreciated.  I would pay for these services but I'm am a low income disabled person trying to find the right help.

Thank You,
Jeff

It doesn't sound dental related to me at the moment.  I would recommend seeing a primary care physician.  It may be some type of infection but its out of my scope of practice.  My initial guess is strep throat but usually there's a fever I believe.
