CAT Scan or MRI

I was just wonderding if someone knows which is best to have done to determine if I definately have TMJ?  I don't want to pay for any unnecessary tests.  God knows, I've already paid out enough. To find out really nothing.  An X-ray doesn't show TMJ does it?  Just curious.

There are xrays that are diagnostic for TMJ dysfunction. I hope you are consulting a dentist that specializes in this condition.
