Child with white spots on tongue

Hi

I have a 22 month old daughter, who consistently gets white spots (no more than one or two at a time) on the tip or sides of her tongue.  She also recently developed a mouth ulcer between her lower lip and front teeth.

Her teeth are brushed twice a day.

Should I be concerned?

I'm not sure if the white spots are related to the mouth ulcer.  The ulcer could be from a number of sources including trauma or a cold sore.  Probably best to check the white spots to make sure its nothing serious.
