Cold symptoms, dental pain, liquid yellow pus / mucus from left nostril

I have been experiencing dental pains on my left side for quite sometime... I am a student on a very low budget and have not had it seen to, so I have been having pain relievers here and there when the tooth pains come up - as they are not always there.

Today I got struck down with what I thought was a normal cold...  Started getting a high temperature, but very light throat pains...  Started a course of Codral cold & flu night & day tablets, slept for a few hours... When I woke my nose had started running..  It wasn't the usual thick snotty mucus from a cold and flu, it was a very watery yellow smelly liquid which kept coming, no matter how many times I blew my nose...  Often I would experience a strange 'bubbling' in the area of the dental pain, as if there was some connection between the effected dental area and my sinuses (??)

Now my nose won't stop dripping this very watery, sickly smelling yellow liquid, from my left nostril - on the same side as my tooth ache which comes and goes..  I have never had such a disgusting smelling liquid expelled from my nose like that...

What can I do??  Is this an emergency??  I can't afford to go to a dentist right now, can a general doctor help me at this stage?  It is now Sunday early morning and there are no doctors in my area who do not 'bulk bill' or charge without Australian Medicare (free).  Only out-of-pocket fee ones...

I just need to know if I should be going to the hospital at all for an emergency, or can it wait till Monday (over 24 hours from now in my time)...

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

If the symptoms worsen, I would definitely go to an urgent care or emergency room facility.  Its possible that the dental infection has spread into the sinus area.  Any swelling on the cheek or inside the gums?  You may need some antibiotics to at least control the situation until the problem is resolved.  Unfortunately, I don't know for sure what it is either so I would say it would be safer to at least find a medical doctor who can at least diagnose your problem so you can manage it and prevent it from worsening.
