Composite or amalgam for anterior tooth filling
I was recently told I need a filling on the mesial side of tooth #12.  I don't mind silver fillings in my molars, and understand that they are more durable given the biting forces exerted on the molars.

Does the same hold true for more anterior teeth, or with those teeth do lesser biting forces translate into comparable durability of composite fillings?
