Confused

Hey , i am sure i have Median Rhomboid Glossitis and i am almost certain i have had it for years ! i have just not paid much attention to my tongue in the past !
basically i am confused as i keep reading on the interent that this is commonly linked to a candida infection. and to my knowledge i have never had candidiasis of any type. There doesnt seem to be much info out there on median rhomboid glossitis or similar conditions and i am hoping someone on here might be abke to enlighten me as to what could cause this or a similar condition other that candidiasis (because i am sure mine is not related to that)
