Continual Tooth Chipping

I chipped my left central incisor about a year ago. My Dentist fixed it but a few months later, the filling came out. So I had that replaced, and then two months after that, the new filling came out again, so after having that one being replaced (They even used the filling gel on the entire tooth) it has also fallen out. Is there some reason why this keeps happening? I've been very careful with this tooth not to chew on anything too hard or use my front teeth for ripping or anything like that. Could the adhesive they use not be effective on my teeth? Should I go to a different Dentist? Or should I go to more extreme measures and start thinking about crowns and lumineers?
Luckily, it hasn't chipped all the way o the nerve, so at least I'm in no pain, I just have a big chunk of tooth missing. Any information would be gratly appreciated, Thanks.

The Thing is I'm quite limited in the spending department, and I need something that will hold up for much longer than two months. I just don't understand why after two months the etch breaks. And I'll wake up to find that the etch is chipping, its just odd.

It is possible that your bite is causing the bonding to chip off. I don't see any reason why the etch would not work on your tooth so I am inclined to think that you need another type of restoration.Your dentist should give you the options and you can both decide on the best type.
