Cracked Teeth

by maztek, Jul 07, 2008 09:55PM
My dentist has diagnosed that I have a cracked tooth and I need a root canal. I have developed the chewing problem and cold and hot feeling on my left side. What should I do where as he sys your teeth are in good condition and seems generally healthy and clean. Is there any way to avoid root canal. He advised tht after the root canal a crown will strengthen the tooth to avoid loosing it permnently.

If your dentist has diagnosed you have a cracked tooth and says you need a root canal, then do it.    If you have pain chewing and sensation to hot and cold on that tooth, then I don't see how a root canal can be avoided, unless you want the tooth extracted.   Follow his advice, have the root canal to fix the tooth.
