Cut in my gum. Please give me advice.

I recently got an accident at work where I use too much force with the tool and then it hit me inside my mouth and bleed in my gum. It was bleeding really bad but now it stop. I use listerine and antibiotic ointment to stop it the bleeding. Next day I feel my tongue lost the taste of food and my gum are dry. Is it the listerine and antibiotic making no taste in my mouth? Is there something wrong here and will I get my tongue back to normal where I can taste food again?

You should get taste back soon, you may have burned your taste buds.  Also, you should have a dentist do an examination to see if you've done any damage to other parts of your mouth.
