Dental Health

Cant afford to go to the dentist at this time.  My husband has some amoxicillin 500 mg.   I am about a 135 lbs, 5 ft 4;   Are they to strong for me to take?

Hi there,
Amoxicillin in the preferred antibiotic in dental infections. The usual adult dosage is 500 mg given every 6-8 hrly.The dosage may be increased or decreased depending on the severity of infection. If you are having a dental infection or cavity it is best to get it treated by a root canal before the problem aggravates. See a dentist.
