Dental Work

by JMYMommy, Nov 04, 2009 07:18PM
My 4 year old daughter had dental work today @ 1pm and her right side of her face is still swollen. Is this normal after receiving dental work for composite two surface posterior ( A, OL ) and Composite on surface anterior ( R, F) ?

Swollen?  It may be due to the dental work done.  I'm not saying its the filling but rather the process of getting in there to remove the cavity and fill the tooth.  Unfortunately small children are harder to work on due to the limited space and small mouths so it may been a little more difficult and she may be a little bit more swollen due to that.  I'd monitor the situation.  Does she have any pain?
