Dental pain

HI!im 20.im in the process of bearing wisdom teeth and its not particularly enjoyable.earlier this year,i visited the dentist and she told me that my teeth are well taken care of except the cavity in one molar-bottom jaw.at the time it wasnt painful but now it is so painful i could cry,along with the process of the wisdom teeth...the pain is even worse,almost unbearable.could i have some form of an infection?is the any form of pain reliever that i can try?
