I've had dentures most of my life. About 2yrs ago I got a new set. Then my wife stopped kissing me. I recently asked her why and she informed me that when she kiss' me she smell the aroma of plastic coming from my mouth. So I am here asking you what can I do to get rid of the smell? I clean them on a regular schedule every night soak them in mouthwash. An dshe still smells the plastic smell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I KNOW you probably won't wanna do this... BUTTTT one night, do a mix of 1 part water, 1 part bleach...soak your dentures. Next morning WASH THEM OFF/brush them... see if that helps. LOL I know it sounds crazy, but it's what we have been taught to suggest for cancer patients who often complain about 'smelly dentures'.
