Displacement of the Meniscus

Hi I had an MRI done on 8/15/08.  The results:

1.  On Right, there is anterior displacement of the meniscus on closed-mouth view with parital reduction on the open-mouth.

2.  On the left, there is anterior displacement of the meniscus on the closed mouth view which does reduce the open mouth views.

How do they fix this.   I am having a splint made for my mouth on 8/20/08.  This was ordered before I had the MRD.  I have been looking on line for my options?     Thanks

Occlusal appliance therapy or occlusal therapy may or may not bring the disc back. However, if the condition persists without further deterioration, tmjs can function without pain.
