Dry mouth and diahrea

For the past 3 days i have been experiencing constant dry, sticky mouth as well as Diahrea.  My mouth feels perfectly fine when im eating and drinking, and have no problem chewing and swallowing. Recently i have been persecribed Amoxicillan due to a bacterial infection in my leg, caused by open cuts. Im wondering if a dry mouth and diahrea could be side effects of the antibiotic. I also have a slight coating of white little hairs on my tongue, but thats been there as long as i can remember and no doctor/dentist ive been to has said anyting about it. Could my symptoms jst be a side effect or do i need medical treatment?

These are common side effects of the antibiotics. Make sure you drink plenty of clear fluids. Dry mouth is also a sign of dehydration, which can be caused by the diarrhea. It is recommeded to drink gatorade to replenish the electrolytes your body is looding from the diarrhea. Just make sure you keep yourself well hydrated and eat binding foods like rice, pasta, white bread and bananas.
