Dry socket - heeelp :(

Dry socket - heeelp :(

Last thursday I had a tooth extraction, lower jaw, the one before the wisdomtooth. Pain started 2 days after. The cleaned it out, and I was on my way, 2 days later AGAIN pain and swelling, I was told I had a dry socket, now I have to visit everyday they put some kind of stuff into it (don't know the word in english) The pain is horrible!!!

How long does it usually take for this to resolve? 3 month ago I got diagnosed with an incurable condition, and I don't need another one!!!

Dry socket usually heals on its own.  There's no treatment for it to speed up the healing, only the socket paste to help with the pain.  I'm not sure exactly how long it'll take but probably a few weeks at most.
