Ear infection or tooth infection?

Ear infection or tooth infection?

I had a very bad earache about 10 days ago. I went to the doctor and he told me I had an ear infection and prescribed antibioics. After a couple of days the pain became worse and now it has spread to my jaw and my tooth. The weird thing is that the tooth that is giving me pain is a bridge I had put in almost 5 years ago. I finished the whole pack of antibiotics and the pain didn't go away. Yesterday I went to see anothe doctor who told me that my ear is blocked b wax, so he gave me a solution to loosen the wax and then I went again today and he washed my ear and took out the wax. He said there's no infection and no need for antibiotics.
BUT my ear, my jaw and my teeth still ache. What could be the problem?

Seeing a dentist  who is also familiar with tmj is advised.
