Extreme Sudden Tooth Pain

I was working yesterday, and everything was fine.  Then I got home and out of no where my left bottom wisdom tooth started throbbing.  The pain is absolutely excruciating.  I can't eat, I can't drink, I couldn't sleep, and ambesol did nothing.  I don't have insurance so I can't go to the doctor or dentist.  Please help me figure out whats wrong.

Unfortunately, I think its important that you go to see a dentist for treatment.  You may have a large cavity (infection) that will require removing the tooth.
