Failed crown/APC, infected, extracted and implanted?

I am growing some concern. It might just be because i dont know exactly waht is oging on with this tooth, or i might have a valid reason for concern and not 100% understand it. I have a tooth at the left of my 2 front teeth, Had a root canal and crown, 2 years later became infectedand had the crown removed and retreated and post put in place and new crown. about a year and a half later became infected again and i had a procedure called ?apicoectomy?. APC i think they refered to it as. They went in and removed some bone and infectious tissue and cleaned out around the root. All this was done through my gums. 1 year later and the tooth has been infected for about 4 or 5 months again. Now i am at a different Doctor's office. This one was recomended to my by my favorite Dentist that moved about 2 hours drive away from me. But after all this ****, i have started seeing him again. (he did not do this tooth to begin with, i had it done at a local office)

The Oral surgeon is suggesting that he will be removeing the tooth that was infected (3 weeks after the anti-biotics are done) and rinseing it with something that will help kill the infection. Doing the bone graft and placeing the implant ALL in the same visit as well as putting a temporary in place on the implant. I will have to come back in 2 to 4 weeks to have the crown put on after that. What im am wondering is if this is all safe to do in one visit. I have read MANY stories where the implant is not put on untill about 8 months AFTER the graft. It is supposed to be a "same day Implant" and he said if he cannot get 20NCM to 40NCM that he will have to wait to do the implant to let it heal.

This is set to go on Tuesday the 1st. I might just be getting a little worried, but, I would just like to get a professionals opinion to make sure. Thanks SO much for your time and concern :)
