Flesh Growing Out From My Tongue

by dooh, Jul 10, 2009 12:03AM
I noticed today I have a piece of flesh looking lump stemming out from my tongue. It's about 1mm in width. It literally looks like its just growing out from my tongue because it's protruding out and it looks like its a piece of flesh. What can this be?? After doing some reading there's a possibility that it's an inflamed taste bud. It doesn't hurt or anything. Just feels annoying because it feels like there's something stuck on your tongue. That's how I found out I have it too, I thought there's a piece of food stuck on it and then when it's not coming off I checked the mirror and saw it. How long before it goes away if it's an inflamed taste bud? If it isn't, what else can it be>!
