GAP BETWEEN GUM AND TEETH

GAP BETWEEN GUM AND TEETH

RECENTLY, I STARTED TO FEEL GAP IN MY TEETH (QTY 03) AND THE GUP ABOVE IT. CAN THIS GAP BE FILLED? OR I WILL HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THAT? IS IT A SERIOUS CONCERN?

THANKS AND REGARDS
SALMAN

Hi,
Usually the gap (called a "black triangle") forms when the gum is starting to shrink away from the tooth and more of the tooth's slender base is exposed.  This is caused by plaque getting down into the gumline.

You need to make an appt with your dentist for an evaluation and cleaning.  If the gum has shrunk down that far the bone holding those teeth in may be starting to dissolve.  Only a dentist can reach any plaque that far down the gumline.

A cleaning and evaluation is imperative.

Please make an appt. ASAP.

Hope this helps and let is know how you do.

Best to you,
Gellia
