Hi there,
An extra tooth can cause several problems. It can cause a hindrance to the normal teeth that should erupt from the gum. The presence of extra teeth in the mouth also leads to crowding of teeth in the mouth. Extraction of the extra teeth is the only way of solving this problem. Cyst formation is more likely in cases with extra teeth. It depends if the extra tooth is causing any of these problems. It is best to get it examined by a dentist. A dental examination is necessary for appropriate diagnosis and management of your condition. I sincerely hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
