Growths on the back of tongue

the other day i was brushing my teeh as usual, and decided to stick my tongue out infront of the mirror. i noticed 3 growths on the very back of my tongue. They're about a cm big. I was just curious as to what it may be.

They very well maybe taste buds.If you are concerned see your dentist or an oral surgeon for a diagnosis.
