HELP! post wisdom extraction pain, is this normal?

Hello board. I had my wisdoms taken out a week ago, just with a local. i was healing up nicely, still am i believe however the molars next to the extraction site are SO achy. it just started happening today a week later, they ache, hurt when i smile etc. i did call the office where i had this done and they said as long as it's not shooting pain i should be good, that it could be where they injected the novocaine hurting. is this normal though a week afterwards? why would the injection sites just start hurting now? thanks board.
