Had 2 teth pulled still having pain

I was referred to an oral surgeon on 8/6 to have a "cracked tooth" (lower left molar) removed after having a lot of pain for weeks. That procedure took about 1/2 hour, in which he had to apply what I considered to be an EXTREME amount of pressure to my jaw to get it out in pieces. By 8/12 I was still in a lot of pain and returned only to have the tooth next to it (eye tooth ?) pulled claiming there was an abscess below a previous root canal. It's now 8/25 and I'm still having almost the same amount of pain on that side, and the one remaining molar (in the back) really hurts if I tap on it (sharp pain). Is it possible to still have pain from the earlier procedures? I don't have ins. and am on ssdi, have already spent $700 and can't afford to have another procedure unless absolutely necc.

TYVM for responding, I actually already take morphine and oxymorphone for some serious back  issues, but I will add the tylenol for awhile. Today (8/26) is the first time I did notice some slight improvement with the pain so I'll give it a couple more days hopefully it will continue to improve if not I will go back. Thanks Again :)

Taking Tylenol and Advil both around the clock, every 6 hours, can relieve post op pain significantly. If pain persists after 3 days, you may need to see your oral surgeon to have a post op exam.
