Harmless bump or lump????

Harmless bump or lump????

Hi, I am a 29 yr. old female.  Borderline hypocondriac, take anti-anxiety drug daily.  Huge fear of cancer due to grandmother's death (Ovarian cancer) 4 yrs ago. Suppose to wear a night splint for TMJ and just recently started wearing it again last night since my jaws have been feeling super tight and tense lately. Don't know if I am overreacting or not.  Anyway, today as I was rubbing my lower face with my fingers on the right side I felt a small english pea size bump or lump.  It is not located in front of the ear or underneath the jaw.  It's kinda located where when you yawn you can feel your muscle but it also isn't as papable when I am yawning or opening my mouth.  Kinda like its on the muscle.  Sometimes its hard to locate at all.  It's movable and doesn't hurt.  Well it just recently feeling tender since I have been pressing and pushing on it all afternoon.  I tried looking up all the locations of lymph nodes today on the internet but some websites don't show any in that area and some I couldn't tell.  Could this be a lymph node?  Or could it just be part of the muscle?  Should I rush to my dentist or ENT doctor? Should I be concerned about this?  I have no other symptoms other than just recently getting over a cold or sinus funk. Don't know what to do since I know that I do tend to overreact.  Thank you for your time

this does not sound serious.  but to be sure you should have it looked at by your dentist or an oral surgeon.  Could be muscular or it could be a salivary gland or duct.  I wouldn't worry too much.
