Heart disease and dental work
Is it safe to have a root canal repaired if you have heart disease? I need to have some work done and I haven't been feeling well, I always have shortness of breath and don't if I should go ahead with my sergury..

It depends on what kind of heart disease you have. To be on the safe side I would disclose information about your condition to your dentist and see what the reply would be. They may either decide to not do RTC at this time or possibly pre-medicate you with antibiotic an hour prior to the treatment (in most cases premeds are either clindamycin or amoxicillin).
