Gingivitis and gum disease has been linked to increasing your risk for heart disease but I wouldn't panic about it.  There are many risk factors for heart attacks and stroke and gingivitis is one of them.  Proper oral hygiene and regular dental visits will reduce your risk.  When was your last dental visit?

there is no need to panic as gingivitis may cause the heart attack but may be in long terms, so keep patience and visit your dentist without any fear.
