High blood presure and tooth extraction

Is it normal to have a high blood pressure for few days already after 4 of my bottom tooth were taken off? I'm 60 year old and I had my tooth removed on Friday and since then I have high blood pressure between 145 and 160. I never had high blood pressure, before. Is that normal side effect?Thank you.

Possibly.  Are you in pain or discomfort?  That could possibly raise your blood pressure as it stresses your body.
