Hole on my gumline?

I've just noticed, moments ago that I had something that looks like bleeding hole in my tooth. Actually, I can't really tell if it's on my tooth or gums. It's accompanied by jaw pain. What this could be? Could it be cavity considering the fact that l had dental examination less than a month ago, and dentist said everything was fine?

It sounds like you could have an abscess. Go back to the dentist right away and get it looked at.
