I NEED SOMEONES HELP ABOUT TONSILS!

by Rhiannon B.S., Jul 29, 2005 12:00AM
Hello! I wasn't sure which topic to put this under!

Someone please help! I am a 19 year-old female who just had her tonsils out. It has been a very rough week for me of recovering although I've never respond well to surgery of any type (I've been puking and unable to drink much of anything) Today however, I started eating a bit and I had some Mr. Noodles (probably not the best choice of food) Anyway, now some of the noodles are stuck behind my hang ball thingey (I dont know what this is called!) and I have tried gurgling and swisshing water around, I tried picking it out with a straw and blowing my nose but it just will not budge. My hang ball thing is swollen to the EXTREME (like the width of almost two pinky fingers) so could that have something to do with it? I definately know it is there because if I shine a light into my mouth I can see it there and I most certainly feel it there. Should I worry about it or will it eventually wash away or just disintegrate away? I don't want it rotting even though it isn't a lot of food at all. AHHH please help, I am paranoid about this and it's driving me crazy!
