Imoportant question

Hi. I had a tooth extraction last month and then I had a severe complication:  My tongue and part of my neck were swollen (Ludwig's Angina). The dentist treated me with antibiotics, and drained the infection. I took antibiotics for 11 days and two weeks ago the dentist said I was ok. However, I still have a very hard mass under my jaw that is swollen. How much time I have to wait until the swelling completely disappears? Is that normal? Please help! Thank you

Going back to your surgeon to have a follow up exam is advised.
