Is alcohol-free mouthwash possibly problematic?

Is alcohol-free mouthwash possibly problematic?

So I've read that using alcohol-based mouthwash increases the risk of developing oral cancer by up to nine times. I want to use some sort of mouthwash, but if there are any dangers associated with it, I'll just stick to flossing and brushing. I know there are plenty of non-alcohol mouthwashes on the market - are they a safe alternative? Besides for the alcohol, are there any other active or inactive ingridients I should be worried about? And can you please recommend me a non-alcohol mouthwash, as I do not know of any right now and would have trouble deciding. Please tell me one I can find at the local CVS or Rite Aid, etc.

Thanks so much

Dear Patient
There are not that many proven studies out there that could cause oral cancer due to the alcohol content in mouth wash. But if you want to be safe Breath Rx is a non alcoholic substitute and I prefer it over the others out there.
