Jaw Infection

Ok I really need some help, I had an absess (abscess) occurr underneath LL7 after having a root canal on 1 of the 3 roots, it was so infected i could not open my mouth more than half a cm I was taking antibiotics metronidazole and amoxiclav for 5 days with no improvement. The doseage was then increased and still no improvement and it was getting worse, after obtaining a letter from my dentist recomending an urgent draining. I then was admitted into hospital where i was put on antibiotic drips and still no improvement. Then i had surgery and had LL7 and my wisdom tooth LL8 removed an internal drain was also put in and was not taken out for a day and a half. I have now been back from hospital for 1 week now and my jaw is still swolen and stiff and still not opening to its full capacity, i am also in extreme pain. how long will this take to heal i am still on antibiotics but today is the last day should i be worried that this is not going to heal? please help me.
