Jaw cramping on First bite of food

by Haimy, Jun 25, 2009 11:09AM
I don't know if this is considered dental but, For a VERY long time now, when ever I take my first bite of food in the day, my jaw cramps up on both sides, I wait for a few seconds with my hands on my jaws then it stops. then The rest of the day is fine till the next day. is this normal? It's been like this for many years i guess its not but but I'm curious.

It appears you may have occlusal muscular disorder. Seeing a tmj specialist is advised.
