Lump on gum

A few years ago I noticed a yellow lump on one of
my gums (inside edge). It has grown in size over
the years, but I haven't experienced that much pain
with it. I once showed a Dentist a couple of years
ago but he though it was a bone lump but didn't do
anything. Am worried that it could be something
serious and have put off going to get it checked out
again. Does anyone know what it could be?

The described lesion appears to be asymptomatic, slowly increase in size, and intact surface with yellowish tint. The differential diagnoses include: ectopic lymphoid tissue, ectopic sebaceous gland, and lipoma. Seeing an oral pathologist or oral surgeon is advised.
