Mercury Poisoning from fillings - Scary!

by soosmoo, Jul 27, 2008 05:30AM
Has anyone had mercury fillings removed and noticed mega improved health or a cease in the symptons below?

I'm currently trying to find the reason for constant muscle ache, chronic fatigue, headaches etc etc and am working through a process of elimination at the moment with my doc. Problem is that a lot of ailments have the same symptons (ie Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Mercury Poisoning)

The information on mercury poisoning is scary and I've a mouth FULL of mercury since I was a teenager!! It sounds like it's well worth doing but I'm sure it costs a lot and takes a long time to do all so If anyone has had this done I'd love to chat.....

Thx

The other side of the coin.

AR-10--

I can only assume you have never been on "the other side of the coin." Are you familiar with who Steven Barrett is, the owner and operator of Quackwatch? I would do a little more research if I were you before ignorantly posted his site on this forum. Come back in a couple weeks if you still can't figure it out and I will be happy to elaborate for you.

Soosmo--

I was suffering from the same symptoms you have described (and more), tested off the charts for Mercury and Lead, got my fillings out, detoxed and now am totally healthy again. In my case, I was diagnosed with Scleroderma and Lupus, which I now believe was a mis-diagnosis. I have accumulated a ton of research on the subject and would be happy to share it with you, if you would like.

So sad to see such ignorance on here...the truth is, mercury toxicity from fillings does exist...why don't you people do your homework instead of being such blind, uneducated that only believe what Big Pharma and all the for profit corporations tell you? The pharmaceutical companies write the medical textbooks that the doctors learn from. Wonder who profits there? Not to mention that the ADA is the one who has TWO patents on mercury fillings. OF COURSE they're going to tell you and all the dentists under them that mercury fillings are safe--they wouldn't be making any money if they weren't. Did you know that a dentist can lose his or her license if they tell you that mercury fillings are bad for you or that you need to get them removed? Wake up people.

woo hoo you have revived a thread dead since july. dentists do not loose their licenses for recommending filling removal. also not everyone is sensitive to the mercury in fillings and few suffer from ill effects. in the case of myself if my numerous fillings were removed i would suffer far more exposure all at once than the minimal leaching over my lifetime. i recently read an article that consuming sushi several times a week make an actor extremely ill with mercury poisoning. i will give up sushi and keep my fillings!
