Months of chronic tooth pain

Hello!  I need any help i can get.  I had a tooth pulled in Feb of this year & since then i have had constant pain in that area & the teeth on either side.  The dentist said i had a vertical root fracture & that i could have a root canal or have it pulled - i was in so much pain that i opted to have it out in his office that day.  Been in pain since!  I have had a root canal done on the tooth to the R by an endo specialist - i have been on several round of antibiotics & muscle relaxers & anti-inflamatories & pain pills...  No real relief yet - been seen by one of the "top" oral specalists in my area & had exploratory surgery done on area & he found nothing.  Been seen by several drs & dentists & specialists for other opinions & i just keep getting bounced around & either treated like i am crazy or a druggie!  I am so sick of being in pain & getting not getting any answers...  any thoughts?

An orofacial pain specialist may help although I don't know for sure.

You may want to try the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and find a doctor through there.

I have been seen by a neurologist but not a orofacial pain specialist.  I have seen primary care dr 2x - 3 diff dentists - 2 oral specialists & had several x-rays & an MRI & blood work.  neuro guy says all looks ok - basically all agreed there can be non specific nerve pain that shows up after this but noone can figure out for certain or get me relief

Have you gotten a referral to an orofacial pain specialist?
