Mucocele

I'm only 12 years old so I don't know much, by I started having little bumps in my mouth about 2~3 years ago. Stupid me: I thought it was just nothing and I popped it. But after I popped it, it kept coming back up, and soon I think it was infected and it became different from regular skin, it felt kind of rough and firm. Next thing I knew now I have several of these and they're not just bumps some of them are now firm white spots that feel different when I touch it. And everytime I pop one of those they grow back up, and now they develop these white coverings that never go away! Everytime I get rid of the white layer, the underneath skin stills stays rough and weird, and it grows back up. And I can't stop popping them because they're really annoying and everytime I look at my mouth in the mirror there are like 5 or 6 of white spots in my mouth which is really annoying. So I looked up in Google and found out they were called mucoceles. Please tell me if these things are ever going to go away. I'll add a photo.

Excuse me?? I got my first cold sore when I was 14 and I was not dating or anything!!
The herpies virus is in the saliva. Cold sores are herpies simplex 1 and over 60% of the population has the virus. You don't even have to have a breakout to carry the virus. After my first breakout, when I was 14, I never had another one. I am a dental health care provider and know a lot about this virus. You can contact it through sharing chapstick, a kiss on the lips, sharing food. It is in the saliva although most of the time it is contacted through the actual sore. However, you can get it during the prodromal period which is right before you get the sore, when only tingling occurs; you can contact then, just prior to a breakout as you are shedding the virus the day before the sore appears. I'm just trying to give the worst case senario. It is always better to be safe than sorry. This virus is very common and should not carry the stigma it has.

You don't have herpes!  Talk to your parents so that you can see a doctor.

It could be herpies. You probably shouldn't be popping them as they can spread. If you get it in your eyes you could go blind! This is not something to mess with. You should tell your parents and go see your doctor or dentist. Herpies can be contacted through kissing or sharing food, even from your parents or family members. It is a virus and you will never get rid of it but you can keep it from spreading by not touching it and buying some cream at the store, Abreva, to put on it to make it go away quicker. Herpies starts off as a blister but when popped will scab and take about 1-2 weeks to go away. They will tend to return any time you are stressed, school, sickness, family problems. If it is a mucocele, then that is an easy fix. Usually they pop and go away and thats it. But if it's herpies, you could spread it so don't touch it until you can have it looked at!!

Well at first, the things had the symptoms. (Clear or semiclear layer of bulged skin with fluid in it). Then as I popped them some became covered with some white coating or layer. Even now sometimes I have those. But usually they are covered with the white layer. I don't know how to further explain it. And if I left them long enough, they would go away, but the skin underneath stills feels weird and they grow back up.

Dear jon1997:
The photo from computer screen is not very clear, which makes it difficult to formulate a meaningful differential diagnosis. Mucocele tends to present as a solitary clear fluid containing eruption of lower lip, with intact surface , and rubbery consistency. The etiology is severed minor salivary gland duct. Recurrence is common if there is no surgical treatment intervened. Your descriptions are not consistent with common presentations of mucocele. Please ask your parent to take you to see an oral surgeon or oral pathologist.
