Multiple canker sores on tongue with temp around 102 degrees

by christopher-mccarthy@uiowa.edu, Sep 27, 2007 12:00AM
On Sept. 23 I began to feel soreness in my throat.  That slowly progressed into a fever around 101-102.5  On Sept. 25 I felt pain on my tongue, and noticed tongue sores and other little canker sores.  I should also make notice that the very back tooth on my bottom right side is starting to come in, and the gums are swollen back there and the gums are swollen on the back side of my top front teeth.  I have been taking ibuprofen, and it helps out a little bit, but I also have some leftover Levaquin (750mg and 500mg) tablets.  I look forward to your response.

Thanks

I think the sores are related to your overall health, and I feel that the sores will take 7 to 10 days to heal. If this does not occur then I would consult your MD or DDS.
