My son and his bone loss

by dearest mom 2, May 29, 2006 12:00AM
My DHs  center tooth in the lower jaw was half broken 20 yrs. back, remained like that for some years,  was pulled out 10 yrs before, now 6 months back showed a pit at the gum line, an xray was taken, doctor has opined bone loss at the root.  Is this serious ? DH does not experience any pain at all, not even during hot or cold  intakes.

I'm not sure I follow your question, but bone loss at roots can be serious depending on how much bone loss there is.    you may not feel any pain with bone loss until there is a problem.
