Well it looks like im going to have to get this tooth pulled. Since I dont have insurance to pay for a RC and i already paid this dentist 200 for the work he did. Kinda sad. But its the only option i have at this point.  Thank you for your advice. It helped a lot!!!

It may be the whole area is traumatized.  If the decay was close to the nerve, removing it could have gotten it all in an uproar.  Or, it may be that you would need a RC on that tooth for the same reason.  The decay was just too close to the nerve.

Don't wait till your appt on Friday if it starts to get worse.   Give your dentist a call.  In the meantime you could try doing warm salt water rinses and take ibuprofen if you can.  It's an antiinflammatory and will help if it's from trauma of the area.

Good luck.  Let us know how you do.
Best to you,
Gellia

The crown sits great on my tooth its pretty much even with the other teeth it might sit a little lower than the rest of them.  I have also been having a lot of pain when i wake up and a dull ache pretty much all day. I go back to see my dentist this friday.

Oh and I had the crown up on when i was about 8 or so and the dentist just recently had to remove it to fix some decay and then put a temporary crown on and now i have my perm on. Im not sure if its just sore becuase he has done so much work on it or what.

It may be the crown is sitting too high.  Check with your dentist and have him correct the bite.  It's an easy process.

Hope this helps.
My best to you,
Gellia
