Numbness in right side of face after tooth extraction

About 5 weeks ago I had a cracked tooth pulled. There was infection that had spread into the bone around the tooth. I am currently experiencing mild numbness in the right side of my face and occasionally in my hand. Several times a day,I need to wipe saliva that is pooling in the right corner of my mouth, though my face looks fine. This morning, I awoke thinking a tremor was shaking my building, since nothing surfaced in the news, the thought occurred that it may have been my body that was shaking, not the building. Needless to say, I'm alarmed.
About 3 weeks after the extraction I was prescribed 2 antibiotics for cold/sore throat symptoms. The loss of feeling began then, and the clinic advised me to discontinue the antibiotics. The symptoms are gradually getting worse.
About 2 months ago, an impaction in my right ear was partially removed, I still have some sporadic pain in my right ear and lower right jaw.
Lastly, I'm currently living in China where I have a significantly different diet and get far more exercise. However there are hosts of toxins and bacterias in this environment. I feel fine, I walk 3-5 miles a day, my energy and mental clarity is fine. I have always been healthy. Before I go to a Chinese clinic, I'd like to be prepared with some possibilities as diagnostic skills here are a little weak. Thanks very much.

I think if the numbness was related to the extraction it would have started almost immediately. It is also possible that some of these symptoms maybe related to your ear problem. I am not an MD and therefore can not diagnosis this problem. If you were in the states I would recommend you see an oral surgeon or an ENT MD.
