Open red shallow mouth ulcer on gums!! canker sore?

I've been running my body down the past few weeks, drinking, no sleep... I had a heavy weekend of drinking last weekend and the day after, on Monday, I had a fever for 2 days, and night sweats, and still have a bit of a cough (it's been only about 5 days since the weekend). On Tuesday, it seemed overnight, I developed typical canker sores in my mouth and a larger irregular red shallow patch on my upper gums, which kind of hurts when I eat. It DOES appear right above a tooth of mine which I've been having trouble with for some years, so I'm thinking it could be a tooth infection or does this sound like a large canker sore? I have been engaged in sexual activity w/ my recent girlfriend but she has been in a relationship for 3 years and I'm the first person she has hooked up with, and said she is clean...Also stressing and thinking about all this lately... I've been reading online and the only reason I'm not saying it's a canker sore is because it's all red and shallow (instead of red outline and white inside).... is it because of excessive alcohol drinking maybe??

I've had these symptoms before after a couple long weekends of drinking and no sleep, all except the red shallow patch on my upper gums.. it's about the size of 2 or 3 canker sores i think.... PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thank you.
