Oral Thrush

I was wondering if it is normal to have oral thrush. I have 2 white spots under my tongue that hurt. I got them one night after I didn't brush my teeth. The pain has gone away mostly since I started using mouth wash. This has happened two times in the past couple of years when I didn't brush my teeth. I was wondering if this can occur in under normal health conditions. It does not spread.

Are you brusing your tounge when you brush your teeth?  If not, you should always brush your tounge when brushing your teeth. Are you rinsing with mouthwash after brushing?   After reading some of these forums on here I am getting scared of what can actually happen to peoples mouths.

Some of these things I have never heard of happening.  Makes me want to eat more veggies and fruits and brush and floss after every meal instead of in the am., after 5pm when I get home from work and before I go to bed.

Oral thrush is generally associated with immune compromised condition. Investigation of underlying cause is warranted.
