Overnight: Brown Spot on Molars -- Medication?

Hello -

I am a 26yo male, 172 pounds. I have not been to a dentist in a long time for a cleaning but have good teeth health. Floss about three times a week and brush at least two to three times a day. I do have some medical conditions and recently, had a bad sinus infection mixed with a virus, cough, etc.... Doctor gave me a Zpack (started this past Wednesday) with 500mg pills and finished my last dose Sunday (9/29 - I think).

Regardless... .went into the bathroom today and on my lower jaw, left side, the rear molar and the tooth infront of it (teeth 17 and 18 per http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=1Y2V7UusPLI2fM&tbnid=JnS_X-QUxjm6BM:&ved=0CAgQjRwwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.simplestepsdental.com%2FSS%2FihtSS%2Fr.%3D%3D%2Fst.31843%2Ft.31882%2Fpr.3.html&ei=nU5LUov9MeWSyAGWxYCICw&psig=AFQjCNGnsXKK5RkFCl--YpF45CB4fHfxTw&ust=1380753437886297) I saw one brown spot on each tooth. It feels like an indentation on them but it came on out of no where. Didn't see it this morning when brushing my teeth so it developed over the course of the day. Google'd it and apparently it can happen if I have thin enamel (which I do have because I have been sick a lot during my life from a young age) and antibiotics and medication hurt your enamel so I have been told.

Question: Could it be something more than the enamel issue? read about decay but how does that happen in a day or so? What can I do to prevent this? I have an appt with the dentist on Thursday (10/3). In addition, here are the medications I am on for a daily basis due to seizures and ADD (Keppra, Gabapentin and Concerta) and started Augmentin today to finish my sinus infection off and that ends in 10 days.

THANKS!!!

It could be an indentation if the enamel is thin and it breaks.  It could also be that there was a cavity forming underneath the enamel that you didn't see and now the area may have "cracked" or broke and has resulted in an indentation.  Your dentist should be able to figure out what happened.

How fast is it getting bigger?

Seems odd that it would grow faster on a regular basis.  If it was a crack or fracture, it would usually come off or break off in pieces at a time but not a gradual wear and tear that should be noticeable within a few days

Thank you, Sir. Greatly appreciate it. I know with the Rx it could be enamel issue. Appreciate it.
