Pain 10 days after wisdom teeth removal

Today is the tenth day after I had 4 widsom teeth removed. I still am experiencing some poking pain, inflammation on the bottom right jaw, and pain running from my right jaw to the bottom of my right ear. I take about 400mg of Advil every 5-6 hours, but after the 3rd hour of taking Advil, the pain starts and gets pretty painful after 4th hour. The pain is like as if I had braces and they were over tightened. Some times the pain is on the chewing area of the molar teeth and runs right across the right jaw on all molars. I had been to my dentist a couple of days back and he said it should be okay. In fact the pain has just worsened in the past couple of days. Can anyone PLEASE HELP

One of the things you have to consider is a dry socket, but the fact that your dentist has seen you and has not mentioned it leads me to believe that is not the problem.I could only suggest that you see your dentist again.
