Pain After Crown

Pain After Crown

I had a permanent crown placed on a tooth 3 days ago. When the dentist asked me if it felt ok, I said yes. I ate Friday with no pain, but the next day I couldnt put any pressure on the tooth because it hurts so bad.  Is this normal? Its now Monday and it still hurts. Like I said before, I felt no pain or discomfort at the dentist when he asked me to bite down. I have been taking Tylenol, but it doesnt help.
