Pain UNDER tongue and have no idea what it is.

First of all sorry i couldnt find the appropriate section but this seemed closest.

When i am tired and i yawn, once in a while i get extremely bad pain underneath my tongue.

It lasts about 4/5 seconds like a usual cramp so thats what i assume it is.

The pain is under the tongue (not actualy the tonge) to the right side. It is not actualy under the GUM either, its in the bit of skin beneath ur jaw (the chin i guess) I dont think its a tooth problem.   I dont know how it can be cramp as there isnt any muscles there, or is there?

Heres a link showing where it is, i have M.E. if that makes a difference

Have you gone to a dentist to rule out a possible dental infection that may have spread to that area?  Are you experiencing any swelling or other symptoms?  There are muscles everywhere in the mouth including below the tongue that provide support for the floor of the mouth.
